For me, the KALI project has been an experiment in itself. It’s one thing to receive training from a spiritual teacher, but it’s quite another to transmit energy to others. I strive for objectivity and honesty, so in this article, I’ll share my first failure, which holds valuable lessons.
I’ve always been fascinated by how spiritual teachers handle their failures. Failures, in this context, refer to instances where students leave dissatisfied. While teachers and professionals often showcase positive reviews on their websites to attract clients, they rarely address their failures. Why is this? Sometimes, failures provide more valuable insights than successes.
Here’s a case study of my first failure.
…An Englishman named John (name changed) emailed me, requesting free sessions due to unemployment. John, preparing for Catholic monkhood, had serious intentions of devoting himself to God. He’d spent time in a monastery and was a member of Opus Dei.
Our first session went well. John’s initial consciousness level was high. Surprisingly, he described himself as absolutely happy. The first energy transfer triggered the development of psychic abilities in John. He began sensing energies (seeing, hearing, and smelling subtle vibrations). The changes were so remarkable that he feared losing his mind. I reassured him, as his new sensations were pleasant. Among other interesting observations:
John, a devout Catholic, often confessed, but after receiving the KALI energy, he felt God’s love so immense that He overlooked his human sins. It was an extraordinary transformation. During an interview for monkhood, John was asked about confessions. He responded that God’s love transcended his sins. As a result, he was rejected, as his attitude was deemed unsuitable for monastery life. John was very disheartened. However, I sensed God preparing him for another mission, so the rejection was a blessing in disguise.
The Englishman completed five sessions, reporting an expanded consciousness beyond his body, experiencing oneness and total love. He began to shed his self-limiting beliefs. He also had profound mystical experiences, including communicating with Higher Beings through dreams. After the fifth session, his consciousness level soared, but I sensed he hadn’t reached complete enlightenment. One final session remained, which I declined to continue. I informed John via email that he should apologize and begin paying for sessions.
This abrupt change in my stance towards John stemmed from his growing disrespect for the KALI energy and me. While I didn’t care about his disdain for me, as I was merely a tool, I couldn’t tolerate disrespect for the KALI energy. Many spiritual teachers and holy individuals tirelessly worked to make this energy accessible to the public.
Consequently, John refused to pay me and take further sessions (relieved to do so) and failed to acknowledge the role of the Goddess Kali’s energy in his rapid spiritual growth.
In my view, three factors contributed to this failure:
First, John was a pious Catholic, with Jesus as his life’s focus. He couldn’t accept that the KALI energy surpassed his religion in its impact on him. He consciously or unconsciously realized that spiritual enlightenment would lead him to question the uniqueness and exceptionality of Jesus. In essence, he feared losing his Christianity. Ultimately, John withdrew and went into denial. Despite my admiration for his bravery in approaching me, he lacked the necessary courage to persevere until the end. The perspective of losing his lifelong devotion outweighed his pursuit of Truth.
Second, energetic cleansing, involving the release of negative energy, could have taken place. When a person undergoes rapid spiritual development, sudden, uncontrollable, and dramatic events or states can sometimes occur. The path isn’t always smooth. Upcoming enlightenment may necessitate certain trials. Nobody knows what challenges John faced. We can’t always grasp the intricacies of such complex spiritual processes.
Third, dark forces may have intervened. John claimed that a demon visited him at night, shaking his bed and making a scraping noise. He discovered during meditation that the demon was attempting to obstruct his spiritual quest. I’ve heard from spiritual teachers that there are certain dark entities that oppose enlightenment. But that’s not the end of the story. After 2-3 days, this demon paid a visit to me.
It was 4:30 am in the summer. The sun had already risen, illuminating my apartment. I was asleep when a pungent burning rubber smell jolted me awake. I checked my electronics, but everything was fine. Nothing was burning. I assumed it was the trash can outside, but there were no bins near my window. I drifted back to sleep. Only around 10-11 am did I realize it was a demon. A friend of mine once mentioned that demons smell like burning rubber… There were no further visits from these unwelcome guests. Thinking about John, I prayed and sought protection for him from the Goddess Kali and Jesus Christ.
Upon reflection on John’s case, I reached a simple conclusion: a spiritual teacher or instructor must constantly be in tune with the person and their circumstances to take timely action. However, due to an individual’s freedom of choice and their destiny, intervention is not always possible.
The rapid growth of John’s level of consciousness and the profound spiritual outcomes were facilitated by a combination of two reasons in my opinion: first, John’s prior commitment to spiritual work, which involved hours of daily meditation and prayer; and second, the Divine Grace of the Goddess Kali’s energy. These two factors represent the unified creativity of the individual and God—the small and Big Self.
Additionally, I received a message from Mother Kali indicating that her energy doesn’t guarantee enlightenment for everyone. There are many reasons for this. For some, the KALI energy will serve as a bridge to encountering a different spiritual method. Others will lose faith due to a lack of patience. Still others may be too attached to their existing spiritual beliefs. And still others may not have a strong desire or clear goal for spiritual awakening…
As a result, I made the decision to change the website’s title from “Enlightenment for Everyone” to “Enlightenment for You.”
The KALI energy is particularly beneficial for those who have diligently and purposefully pursued enlightenment, exploring various spiritual schools and working with numerous spiritual teachers. Such seekers are often weary of the endless stream of practices, meditations, satsangs, seminars, etc. They have a strong desire to complete their quest and finally achieve enlightenment.
